                पवन पुत्र व राम भक्त हनुमान को युगों से लोग पूजते आ रहे हैं। उन्हें बाल ब्रह्मचारी भी कहा जाता है जिस कारण स्त्रियों को उनकी किसी भी मूर्ति को छूने से मना किया जाता है। वे देवता रूप में विभिन्न मंदिरों में पूजे जाते हैं लेकिन एक ऐसा मंदिर भी है जहां पर हनुमान को पुरुष नहीं बल्कि स्त्री के रूप में पूजा जाता है।


                 अद्भुत है यह मंदिर जहां हनुमान को स्त्री स्वरूप में देखा जाता है। छत्तीसगड़ के बिलासपुर में प्रसिद्ध यह मंदिर एक प्रचीन मंदिर है जहां पर हनुमान के स्त्री के रूप के पीछे छिपी दस हजार साल पुरानी एक कथा प्रचलित है.......

कहां है ये मंदिर.......
                  यह मंदिर छत्तीसगड़ के बिलासपुर जिले से 25 कि. मी. दूर रतनपुर में है. कहा जाता है कि यह एक महत्वपूर्ण जगह है जो काफी महान है। इतना ही नहीं, इस नगरी को महामाया नगरी भी कहा जाता है क्योंकि यहां पर मां महामाया देवी मंदिर और गिरजाबंध में स्थित हनुमानजी का मंदिर है।

              इस छोटी सी नगरी में स्थित हनुमान जी का यह विश्व में इकलौता ऐसा मंदिर है जहां हनुमान का नारी रूप में पूजन किया जाता है। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इस मंदिर में आने वाला हर एक भक्त हजारों मन्नतें लेकर आता है और इस स्थान से वो कभी भी निराश होकर नहीं लौटता। लोगों की श्रद्धा व भावना से भरपूर इस मंदिर में हर समय लोगों का आना-जाना लगा रहता है।


             बजरंगबली को अपना स्वरूप ज्ञात करवाने के लिए माता सीता ने क्या उपाय निकाला, पढ़िए पुराणों में छिपी एक आलौकिक घटना....

लेकिन क्यों होती है स्त्री रूप में पूजा?

                कहा जाता है कि हनुमान जी का स्त्री रूप में यहां पूजा जाना एक कथा का परिणाम है जो हजारों वर्षों पुरानी है। लगभग दस हजार वर्ष पुरानी बात है जब एक दिन रतनपुर के राजा पृथ्वी देव जी जिन्हें एक शारीरिक कोढ़ था वे इस रोग के कारण काफी उदास हो गए। इस रोग की वजह से वे ना तो कोई काम कर सकते थे और ना ही जिंदगी का आनंद उठा सकते थे। उदासी में बैठे-बैठे राजा को नींद आ गई।

                  नींद के दौरान उन्होंने एक सपना देखा जिसमें उन्हें एक ऐसे रूप के दर्शन हुए जो वास्तव में है ही नहीं। उन्होंने संकटमोचन हनुमानजी को देखा लेकिन स्त्री रूप में। वे लंगूर की भांति दिख रहे थे लेकिन पूंछ नहीं थी, उनके एक हाथ में लड्डू से भरी थाली थी और दूसरे हाथ में राम मुद्रा। कानों में भव्य कुंडल व माथे पर सुंदर मुकुट माला भी थी। उनका यह दृश्य देख राजा अचंभित हो उठे।

                 एक अप्सरा के पुत्र थे हनुमान जी पर फिर भी लोग उन्हें वानरी की संतान कहते हैं….जानिए पुराणों में छिपे इस अद्भुत रहस्य को.....

इसीलिए बना ऐसा मंदिर....


               सपने में हनुमान के स्त्री रूप ने राजा से एक बात कही. हनुमान ने राजा से कहा कि “हे राजन् मैं तेरी भक्ति से अत्यंत प्रसन्न हूं और मैं तुम्हारा कष्ट अवश्य दूर करूंगा। तू एक मंदिर का निर्माण करवा और उसमें मुझे बैठा। मंदिर के पीछे एक तालाब भी खुदवा जिसमें मेरी विधिवत पूजा करते हुए तू स्नान करना।  इससे तुम्हारे शरीर का यह कोढ़ रोग आवश्य दूर हो जाएगा।"


               नींद खुलते आते ही राजा ने गिरजाबन्ध में ठीक वैसा ही मंदिर बनवाना शुरु कर दिया जैसा कि हनुमान जी ने उसके सपने में बताया था लेकिन मंदिर पूरा होते ही राजा को उसमें रखने के लिए मूर्ति कहां से लाई जाए यह चिंता सताने लगी। इसका उपाय भी संकटमोचन हनुमान जी ने दोबारा से राजा को स्वप्न में आकर दिया।

             एक रात हनुमान जी राजा के सपने में फिर से आए और कहा कि “मां महामाया के कुण्ड में मेरी मूर्ति रखी हुई है। हे राजन् तू उसी मूर्ति को यहां लाकर मंदिर में स्थापित करवा।” अगले दिन ही राजा अपने परिजनों और पुरोहितों के साथ देवी महामाया के मंदिर में गए लेकिन बहुत ढूंढने पर भी उन्हें मूर्ति नहीं मिली। राजा काफी बेचेन हो गया।


                हताश राजा इसी चिंता में विश्राम करने के लिए अपने कक्ष में आया और सो गया। नींद आते ही हनुमान जी फिर से राजा के सपने में आए और बोले “राजन तू हताश न हो मैं वहीं हूं तूने ठीक से तलाश नहीं किया। उस मंदिर में जहां लोग स्नान करते हैं उसी में मेरी मूर्ति है।”

                 जब राजा ने वह मूर्ति खोजी तो यह वही मूर्ति थी जिसे राजा ने अपने स्वप्न में देखा था। मूर्ति को पाते ही राजा प्रसन्न हो उठा और जल्द से जल्द उसकी स्थापना मंदिर में करवाई। हनुमान जी के निर्देशानुसार इस मंदिर के पीछे तालाब भी खुदवाया गया। प्रसन्नता भरे राजा ने हनुमान से वरदान भी मांगा था कि जो भी यहां दर्शन को आए उसकी हर इच्छा अवश्य पूरी हो।

एक अद्भुत तेज है इस मूर्ति में.....

              राजा को मिली इस मूर्ति में अनेक विशेषताएं हैं। इसका मुख दक्षिण की ओर है और साथ ही मूर्ति में पाताल लोक़ का चित्रण भी है। मूर्ति में हनुमान जी को रावण के पुत्र अहिरावण का संहार करते हुए दर्शाया गया है। यहां हनुमान जी के बाएं पैर के नीचे अहिरावण और दाएं पैर के नीचे कसाई दबा हुआ है। हनुमान के कंधों पर भगवान राम और लक्ष्मण की झलक है। उनके एक हाथ में माला और दूसरे हाथ में लड्डू से भरी थाली है। कहा जाता है कि छत्तीसगढ़ की राजधानी रायपुर से लगभग 84 किलोमीटर दूर रमई पाट में भी एक ऐसी ही मूर्ति स्थापित है।

                 People have been worshiping Pawan Putra and Ram devotee Hanuman since ages.  They are also called Bal Brahmachari, due to which women are prohibited from touching any of their idols.  They are worshiped in various temples in deity form but there is also a temple where Hanuman is worshiped as a woman, not a man.


                  This temple is amazing where Hanuman is seen in the female form.  This famous temple in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh is an ancient temple where a legend of Hanuman's ten thousand years old behind the form of woman is prevalent .......


 Where is this temple .......

                   This temple is 25 km from Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh.  M  Away is in Ratanpur.  It is said to be an important place which is quite great.  Not only this, this city is also called Mahamaya Nagari because there is Ma Mahamaya Devi temple and Hanumanji temple located in the church.

               This is the only temple in the world where Lord Hanuman is worshiped in a feminine form, in this small city.  Local people say that every devotee visiting this temple brings thousands of vows and he never returns from this place after being disappointed.  Full of reverence and feeling of the people, this temple keeps on visiting people all the time.

 But why is worship in female form?



                 It is said that Hanuman ji's worship here in a feminine form is the result of a story which is thousands of years old.  It is about ten thousand years old when one day King Prithvi Dev of Ratanpur who had a physical leprosy became very depressed due to this disease.  Because of this disease, they could neither do any work nor enjoy life.  Sitting in sadness, the king fell asleep.



                   During his sleep he had a dream in which he had a vision of a form which is not really there.  He saw Sankatmochan Hanumanji but in a feminine form.  He looked like a langur but had no tail, he had a plate full of laddus in one hand and Ram mudra in the other hand.  There was also a grand coil in the ears and a beautiful crown garland on the forehead.  The king was amazed to see this scene of him.

                  Hanuman was the son of an Apsara, but still people call him the child of forestry…. Learn this wonderful secret hidden in the Puranas….



 That is why such a temple was built ....



                In the dream Hanuman's female form said one thing to the king.  Hanuman told the king that "O Rajan, I am very happy with your devotion and I will definitely take away your suffering.  You built a temple and made me sit in it.  In the back of the temple also dug a pond in which you bathe while duly worshiping me.  With this, this leprosy of your body will disappear. "





                As soon as the sleep broke, the king started to build the temple in the church exactly as Hanuman ji had told in his dream, but when the temple was completed, he started worrying about where to bring the idol to keep the king in it.  Sankatmochan Hanuman ji again gave the remedy to the king in a dream.



              One night Hanuman ji came again in the dream of the king and said that “My idol is kept in the pool of Maa Mahamaya.  O Rajan, bring the same idol here and install it in the temple. "  The next day the king along with his family and priests went to the temple of Goddess Mahamaya, but even after searching a lot, they could not find the idol.  The king became very restless.





                 The desperate king came to his room to rest in this anxiety and slept.  As soon as sleepy, Hanuman ji again came in the king's dream and said, "Rajan, don't be desperate, I am there, you did not search properly."  I have an idol in the temple where people bathe. ”

                  When the king discovered that idol, it was the same idol that the king had seen in his dream.  The king was pleased to find the idol and got it installed in the temple as soon as possible.  The pond was also dug behind this temple as per the instructions of Hanuman ji.  A happy king had also asked Hanuman for a boon that whoever comes to visit here must fulfill his every wish.



 There is a wonderful glory in this idol .....



               This idol received by the king has many characteristics.  It faces south and also has a depiction of Hades in the statue.  The idol depicts Hanuman ji killing Ahiravan, the son of Ravana.  Here Hanuman ji holds ahiravana under his left leg and butcher under his right leg.  Hanuman has a glimpse of Lord Rama and Lakshmana on his shoulders.  He has a plate filled with garlands in one hand and laddus in the other hand.  It is said that a similar statue is installed in Ramai Pate, about 84 km from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
