*बेला और कल्याणी कौन थी? शायद किसी को नही मालूम है। सत्य तो यह है कि हमे इतिहास मे यह सब पढाया ही ननि गया। बल्कि जो पढाया गया है वह गलत इतिहास पढाया गया।*

बेला और कल्याणी शायद ही आपने ये नाम पहले सुने हों।

*बेला तो पृथ्वीराज चौहान की बेटी थी और कल्याणी जयचंद की पौत्री।*

*पृथ्वीराज चौहान महान देशभक्त* थे और *जयचंद ने देश के साथ गद्दारी की थी,* लेकिन उसकी *पौत्री महान राष्ट्रभक्त* थी।

बात उन दिनों की है, जब हमारे देश पर विदेशी लुटेरों ने कब्जा कर लिया था और जो सबसे बड़ा लुटेरा था वह था मुहम्मद गौरी।

हमारे देश को लूटकर वह अपने वतन गया था तो उसके गुरु ने देखते हुए स्वागत किया था।
‘‘अस्लाम वालेकुम।’’
‘‘वालेकुम अस्लाम! आओ गौरी आओ! हमें तुम पर नाज है कि तुमने हिन्दुस्तान पर फतह करके इस्लाम का नाम रोशन किया है, कहो सोने की चिड़िया हिन्दुस्तान के कितने पर कतर कर लाए हो।’’ गजनी के सर्वोच्च काजी निजामुल्क ने मोहम्मद गौरी का अपने महल में स्वागत करते हुए कहा।

‘‘काजी साहब! मैं हिन्दुस्तान से सत्तर करोड़ दिरहम मूल्य के सोने के सिक्के, पचास लाख चार सौ मन सोना और चांदी, इसके अतिरिक्त मूल्यवान आभूषणों, मोतियों, हीरा, पन्ना, जरीदार वस्त्रा और ढाके की मल-मल की लूट-खसोट कर भारत से गजनी की सेवा में लाया हूं।’’

‘‘बहुत अच्छा! लेकिन वहां के लोगों को कुछ दीन-ईमान का पाठ पढ़ाया कि नहीं?’’

‘‘बहुत से लोग इस्लाम में दीक्षित हो गए हैं।’’

‘‘और बंदियों का क्या किया?’’

‘‘बंदियों को गुलाम बनाकर गजनी लाया गया है। अब तो गजनी में बंदियों की सार्वजनिक बिक्री की जा रही है।

रौननाहर, इराक, खुरासान आदि देशों के व्यापारी गजनी से गुलामों को खरीदकर ले जा रहे हैं। एक-एक गुलाम दो-दो या तीन-तीन दिरहम में बिक रहा है।’’

‘‘हिन्दुस्तान के मंदिरों का क्या किया?’’

‘‘मंदिरों को लूटकर 17000 हजार सोने और चांदी की मूर्तियां लायी गयी हैं, दो हजार से अधिक कीमती पत्थरों की मूर्तियां और शिवलिंग भी लाए गये हैं और बहुत से पूजा स्थलों को नेप्था और आग से जलाकर जमीदोज कर दिया गया है।’’

‘‘वाह! अल्हा मेहरबान तो गौरी पहलवान!’’ फिर मंद-मंद मुस्कान के साथ बड़बड़ाए, ‘‘गौरे और काले, धनी और निर्धन गुलाम बनने के प्रसंग में सभी भारतीय एक हो गये हैं। जो भारत में प्रतिष्ठित समझे जाते थे, आज वे गजनी में मामूली दुकानदारों के गुलाम बने हुए हैं।’’

फिर थोड़ा रुककर कहा, ‘‘लेकिन हमारे लिए कोई खास तोहफा लाए हो या नहीं?’’
‘‘लाया हूं ना काजी साहब!’’

‘‘क्या?’’

‘‘जन्नत की हूरों से भी सुंदर जयचंद की पौत्री कल्याणी और पृथ्वीराज चौहान की पुत्री बेला।’’

‘‘तो फिर देर किस बात की है।’’

‘‘बस आपके इशारेभर की।’’

‘‘माशा अल्लाह! आज ही खिला दो ना हमारे हरम में नये गुल।’’

‘‘ईंशा अल्लाह!’’

और तत्पश्चात्!
काजी की इजाजत पाते ही शाहबुद्दीन गौरी ने कल्याणी और बेला को काजी के हरम में पहुंचा दिया। कल्याणी और बेला की अद्भुत सुंदरता को देखकर काजी अचम्भे में आ गया, उसे लगा कि स्वर्ग से अप्सराएं आ गयी हैं। उसने दोनों राजकुमारियों से विवाह का प्रस्ताव रखा तो बेला बोली-‘‘काजी साहब! आपकी बेगमें बनना तो हमारी खुशकिस्मती होगी, लेकिन हमारी दो शर्तें हैं!’’

‘‘कहो..कहो.. क्या शर्तें हैं तुम्हारी! तुम जैसी हूरों के लिए तो मैं कोई भी शर्त मानने के लिए तैयार हूं।

‘‘पहली शर्त से तो यह है कि शादी होने तक हमें अपवित्र न किया जाए? क्या आपको मंजूर है?’’

‘‘हमें मंजूर है! दूसरी शर्त का बखान करो।’’

‘‘हमारे यहां प्रथा है कि लड़की के लिए लड़का और लड़के लिए लड़की के यहां से विवाह के कपड़े आते हैं। अतः दूल्हे का जोड़ा और जोड़े की रकम हम भारत भूमि से मंगवाना चाहती हैं।’’

‘‘मुझे तुम्हारी दोनों शर्तें मंजूर हैं।’’
और फिर! बेला और कल्याणी ने कविचंद के नाम एक रहस्यमयी खत लिखकर भारत भूमि से शादी का जोड़ा मंगवा लिया। काजी के साथ उनके निकाह का दिन निश्चित हो गया। रहमत झील के किनारे बनाये गए नए महल में विवाह की तैयारी शुरू हुई।
कवि चंद द्वारा भेजे गये कपड़े पहनकर काजी साहब विवाह मंडप में आए। कल्याणी और बेला ने भी काजी द्वारा दिये गये कपड़े पहन रखे थे। शादी को देखने के लिए बाहर जनता की भीड़ इकट्ठी हो गयी थी।

तभी बेला ने काजी साहब से कहा-‘‘हमारे होने वाले सरताज! हम कलमा और निकाह पढ़ने से पहले जनता को झरोखे से दर्शन देना चाहती हैं, क्योंकि विवाह से पहले जनता को दर्शन देने की हमारे यहां प्रथा है और फिर गजनी वालों को भी तो पता चले कि आप बुढ़ापे में जन्नत की सबसे सुंदर हूरों से शादी रचा रहे हैं। शादी के बाद तो हमें जीवनभर बुरका पहनना ही है, तब हमारी सुंदरता का होना न के बराबर ही होगा। नकाब में छिपी हुई सुंदरता भला तब किस काम की।’’

‘‘हां..हां..क्यों नहीं।’’ काजी ने उत्तर दिया और कल्याणी और बेला के साथ राजमहल के कंगूरे पर गया, लेकिन

वहां पहुंचते-पहुंचते ही काजी साहब के दाहिने कंधे से आग की लपटें निकलने लगी, क्योंकि क्योंकि कविचंद ने बेला और कल्याणी का रहस्यमयी पत्र समझकर बड़े तीक्ष्ण विष में सने हुए कपड़े भेजे थे। काजी साहब विष की ज्वाला से पागलों की तरह इधर-उधर भागने लगा, तब बेला ने उससे कहा-‘‘तुमने ही गौरी को भारत पर आक्रमण करने के लिए उकसाया था ना, हमने तुझे मारने का षड्यंत्र रचकर अपने देश को लूटने का बदला ले लिया है।

हम हिन्दू कुमारियां हैं समझे, किसमें इतना साहस है जो जीते जी हमारे शरीर को हाथ भी लगा दे।’’

कल्याणी ने कहा, ‘‘नालायक! बहुत मजहबी बनते हो, अपने धर्म को शांतिप्रिय धर्म बताते हो और करते हो क्या? जेहाद का ढोल पीटने के नाम पर लोगों को लूटते हो और शांति से रहने वाले लोगों पर जुल्म ढाहते हो, थू! धिक्कार है तुम पर।’’ इतना कहकर उन दोनों बालिकाओं ने महल की छत के बिल्कुल किनारे खड़ी होकर एक-दूसरी की छाती में विष बुझी कटार जोर से भोंक दी और उनके प्राणहीन देह उस उंची छत से नीचे लुढ़क गये। पागलों की तरह इधर-उधर भागता हुआ काजी भी तड़प-तड़प कर मर गया।

भारत की इन दोनों बहादुर बेटियों ने विदेशी धरती पराधीन रहते हुए भी बलिदान की जिस गाथा का निर्माण  किया, वह सराहने योग्य है आज सारा भारत इन बेटियों के बलिदान को श्रद्धा के साथ याद करता है।

 Dear affectionate friends Jai Sri Krishna, Radhe Radhe .....



      If the brave sons of my beloved India land are ready to give up their everything for the mother, mother and son of India, then the women of our country have not left behind.  Out of them, today I am presenting the heroic story of my mother Bharati's two daughters to all of you.  If you like, do share in the comment box giving your opinion / feedback.

 * Who were Bela and Kalyani?  Probably no one knows.  The truth is that we have not been taught all this in history.  Rather, what has been taught was wrong history. *



 You have probably heard these names before Bella and Kalyani.



 * Bela was the daughter of Prithviraj Chauhan and granddaughter of Kalyani Jaichand. *

 * Prithviraj Chauhan was a great patriot * and * Jaichand betrayed the country, * but his * granddaughter was a great patriot *.



 It is a matter of those days, when our country was captured by foreign robbers and the biggest marauder was Muhammad Ghori.



 When he went to his homeland after plundering our country, his master welcomed him.

 "Aslam Vallekum."

 "Vallekum Islam!  Come, Gauri!  We are proud of you that you have conquered the name of Islam by conquering Hindustan, say how many golden birds have brought Qatar to India. ”Najamulk, the supreme Qazi of Ghazni, welcomed Mohammad Gauri to his palace.

 "Qazi sir!  I serve gold coins from India by robbing gold coins worth seventy crores dirhams, fifty lakhs four hundred mana gold and silver, additionally valuable jewelery, pearls, diamonds, emeralds, jagged garments and dhukas.  I have brought it.



 ''very good!  But did he teach some humble faith to the people there? "



 "Many people have been initiated into Islam."

 "The captives have been enslaved and brought to Ghazni.  Now the public sale of detainees is being done in Ghazni.

 After getting Qazi's permission, Shahabuddin Gauri took Kalyani and Bela to the Kazim's harem.  On seeing the amazing beauty of Kalyani and Bella, Kazi was taken aback, he felt that the nymphs had come from heaven.  When he proposed marriage to both the princesses, Bella said - "Kazi sahib!"  It will be our good luck to be you, but we have two conditions. "


 "Say .. what .. what are your conditions!"  I am ready to accept any condition for hurts like you.


 "The first condition is that we should not be profaned till we get married?"  Do you approve? "

 "We approve!"  Explain the second condition. "


 "It is our practice that the wedding clothes of the boy for the girl and the girl for the boy come from here.  So we want to get the bridegroom's couple and the couple's money from India land. "



 "I accept both of your conditions."

 and then!  Bela and Kalyani, after writing a mysterious letter in the name of Kavichand, got a wedding couple from India land.  His marriage day with Qazi was confirmed.  Preparations for the marriage began in the new palace built on the banks of Lake Rahmat.

 Qazi Sahib came to the wedding pavilion wearing clothes sent by poet Chand.  Kalyani and Bella also wore clothes given by Qazi.  A crowd of people had gathered outside to witness the wedding.


 Then Bela said to Kazi Saheb - "Our future Sartaj!  We want to give darshan to the public before reading Kalma and Nikah, because it is our practice to give darshan to the public before marriage and then let the Ghajini also know that you married the most beautiful women of Jannat in old age.  Have been.  After marriage, we have to wear burqa for life, then our beauty will be negligible.  What good is the beauty hidden in the mask? "


 "Yes ... why not." Qazi replied and went to the palace with Kalyani and Bella, but


 On reaching there, flames started coming out of the right shoulder of Qazi Saheb, because Kavichand, considering the mysterious letter of Bela and Kalyani, had sent clothes soaked in big pungent venom.  Qazi Saheb began to run around like crazy from the poison flame, then Bella said to him - "You were the one who encouraged Gauri to attack India. No, we took revenge for plundering your country by plotting to kill you."  have taken.

 Kalyani said, "Unbecoming!  You become very religious, call your religion a peace loving religion, and what do you do?  In the name of beating the drums of jihad, you rob people and oppress the people living in peace, Thu!  Damn it to you. ”Having said that, both of them stood on the very edge of the roof of the palace and thrust the poisonous dagger into each other's chest and their soulless body rolled down from that high ceiling.  Kazi, who was running here and there like crazy, also died after yearning.


 The saga that these two brave daughters of India sacrificed while being subjected to foreign lands is admirable, today the whole of India remembers the sacrifice of these daughters with reverence.
